Will Work 4 Good is a nonprofit that joins the need for life-shaping character development opportunities for youth with the mission and resources of purpose-based companies to improve the lives of the economically disadvantaged.
Qualifying junior- and senior-level high school students are awarded full-time six-week summer employment opportunities with local companies. Students perform normal work tasks and are also assigned a mentor by the employer who teaches them about the company’s business operations and, importantly, about the company’s commitment to its community and other key stakeholders. At the end of the first five weeks, the student and the mentor are deployed to a local area of need where the student works on a nonpaid volunteer basis alongside other WW4G participants on a meaningful service project.
